Welcome to by.chelsi! The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to by.chelsi. We operate this website and online store, including all related information, content, products and services, to provide you with a shopping experience.
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the platform that allows us to sell our products and services.
These Terms of Service, together with our other website policies, explain your rights and responsibilities when using our website or placing an order.
By visiting our website, browsing our products or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms do not affect any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Access and Account

By using our website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a purchase agreement.
When placing an order, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, billing address, delivery address and payment details.
You agree that all information you provide is accurate, current and complete. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and ensuring that your contact information is up to date.

2. Our Products

All by.chelsi press-on nail sets are handmade to order.
We make every effort to ensure that our product photographs and descriptions accurately represent the products we offer. However, colours and product appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device and display settings.
As each set is handmade, slight variations in artwork, placement and finish may occur. We aim to keep each design consistent with the product photographs, descriptions or agreed custom design.
Our available nail lengths are Short Almond and Medium Almond.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions, prices and availability where necessary.

3. Custom Design Orders

Custom orders begin with a design enquiry submitted through our website.
The process is as follows:

Submit your custom design enquiry with your design details and inspiration.
We will review your enquiry and confirm which design tier applies, along with the final price.
Once your design tier and price have been confirmed, you can return to the website and purchase the correct custom set.
We will then create your nails and prepare your order for dispatch.

Please do not purchase a custom tier until we have reviewed your enquiry and confirmed which option is suitable for your design.

Our current starting prices are:

Solid Colour Set - £22
Classic Custom - £25
Signature Custom - £30
Luxe Custom - £40
Luxe Premium Custom - £45

The final design tier and price will be confirmed after reviewing your enquiry. Additional charges may apply for designs that require extra time, materials or detail. Any additional cost will be discussed with you before you make your purchase.

4. Sizing

A sizing kit is required before your first set. Sizing kits cost £5.99 and include free UK postage.
If you have already ordered a sizing kit, you can use your recorded sizes for future orders. Please keep your sizing information safe and check that it is still accurate before placing another order.
Customers are responsible for providing or selecting the correct nail sizes. If you are unsure about your sizing, please contact us before placing your order.

5. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed your order.
Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase, including your selected design tier, nail length, colour and sizing details.
For custom orders, your design tier and final price must be confirmed by us before you purchase the correct custom set.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout and arrange any refund required.
All orders are subject to our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Products are sold for personal use and are not intended for commercial resale.

6. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
Payment must be completed at checkout before we begin making your order.
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.
Prices may change from time to time. Any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information when placing an order.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Please allow up to 5-7 working days for your order to be dispatched.
For custom orders, this timeframe begins once your design, confirmed price, order and sizing details have all been received and confirmed.
Delivery time is additional to the processing time. Available delivery options and charges will be displayed at checkout.
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.
Please ensure your delivery address is correct before placing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has been processed or dispatched.
If your order is delayed or has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us so we can look into this.

8. Changes and Cancellations

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once production has started. Custom designs may not be changed once work is underway.
For personalised custom orders, we do not accept change-of-mind cancellations or refunds once production has started, where the legal exception for personalised goods applies.
All cancellation requests, returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and your statutory consumer rights.

9. Replacement Nails

Replacement nails may be available for previous by.chelsi designs, depending on the original design and availability of materials.
Replacement nails are priced according to the original design tier:

Classic - £3.50 per nail
Signature - £4.00 per nail
Luxe - from £5.00 per nail

Replacement nails are available for up to four nails per request. They do not include a new application kit.
Exact matches cannot always be guaranteed, particularly if materials or colours have changed since your original order.
Please contact us before purchasing replacement nails so we can confirm availability and pricing.

10. Care and Application

Please refer to the relevant product page on our website for detailed nail preparation, application, removal and aftercare instructions.
Use nail glue and other application products according to their instructions. Avoid contact between uncured or wet products and your skin, and stop using a product if irritation occurs.
We cannot guarantee a particular wear time, as this depends on preparation, application, lifestyle and aftercare.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices or services offered by third-party websites.
If you choose to visit or use a third-party website, you do so subject to that website's own terms and policies.
Our website is hosted by Shopify, which provides the online store platform and related services that allow us to operate our business.
Purchases made through our store are transactions between you and by.chelsi. Shopify is not the seller of our products.

We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect sizing supplied by the customer, misuse, improper application or failure to follow the care and application instructions provided.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law. This includes your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not meet the standards required by law.
